Training

The Sandtoft Training and Assessment Centre (S.T.A.C.) achieved accredited assessment centre status in May 2002 for NVQs in Roof Slating and Tiling at level 2 and Level 3. This enables us to assist roofing contractors in meeting the growing requirement to obtain their qualifications and thereby fully renewable CSCS cards.

Sandtoft's experienced assessment and training staff offer full support and training to all candidates throughout the process. Induction, registration and top-up training (as required) takes place at our centre at our Sandtoft site. However, the vast majority of the NVQ (the assessments) are normally carried out on-site to ensure time off-the-job for the roofing contractor is kept to a minimum.
