PV48 Solar System - Installation
On-roof installation can be carried out by the roofing contractor with minimal
training, which Sandtoft will provide. All roof components, including flashings
are supplied with the solar panels as a complete system. The system can be installed
over the tile battens using extra standard tile battens without the need to reset
the gauge.
The roofing contractor connects the solar panels together with simple push fit
connectors and passes a pair of cables through the underlay into the roof space
for later connection by the electrical contractor.
Each system includes the appropriate inverter to complete the connection of the
solar system to the buildings grid-supplied electrical system.
Sandtoft can guide you through each step; from the internal electrical connection
of the solar tiles to the connection of the system to the electricity grid and
final commissioning.
