Sandtoft Zonal specification tables provide the user with a quick and easy way
to determine the appropriate level of fixings required without the need for complex
calculations.
The Zonal Method was developed by an industry-wide group comprising representatives
from NFRC, CTMA, CRTC as well as support from BRE, NBS, NHBC and Zurich.
With some very basic information about the roof and site location the designer
or contractor can use these tables to look up a suitable fixing specification
for a project.
For projects that fall outside of the scope of the Zonal Method or where it is
necessary to apply individual parameters in accordance with BS 5534, Sandtoft
Technical Services can provide individual site-specific fixing recommendations
using the full calculation method.
