An interlocking riven slate, Rivius is the latest addition to Sandtoft's New
Generation clay tile range. The result of four years research and development,
this New Generation of clay tiles is a major breakthrough in roof tile design.
Developed in close collaboration with the UK's leading contractors, each tile
has been designed with the principle that it offers highly efficient and flexible
installation. All the tiles in the range are interlocking and have an open gauge
that speeds up installation and reduces completion times and defects. Following
intensive wind tunnel testing and drawing on a century of experience Sandtoft
has taken interlocking clay tile design to the next level.

Please note that Balmoral will be re-launched this summer as a new open gauge
product and will offer the same fixing benefits as the 20/20.
Among the tile's design improvements will be a new toughened surface finish which
will increase the durability of its Antique Slate colour. A complete range of
dry fix and ventilation systems will also be available.
